Lea H. Siebert, LAc, Reiki Master
Lea H Siebert has worked in the health field since 1998. She completed a four-year masters program in acupuncture and oriental medicine at the renown Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (www.aoma.edu) where she studied directly under respected masters from China. The rigorous program of 2880 in-school hours included western medical courses and martial arts in addition to the Traditional Chinese Medicine studies of TCM theory, acupuncture techniques, nutrition, herbology, oriental bodywork, and over 1000 clinic hours.
Lea's post-graduate training includes Facial Rejuvenation and the non-needle pain relief technique of Ortho-bionomy. Lea has been personally studied with internationally renown acupuncturists/teachers Susan Johnson and Dr. Richard Tan ("Balance Method") both teaching methods based in Master Tung's acupuncture theories. She also personally studied with Dr. Kaufman in his amazing no-needle Pain Neutralization Techniques, which is being excitedly touted as "revolutionizing pain treatment" by MD's, physical therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists alike.
As a former teacher (grades 1-8 and junior high math), Lea has a strong rapport with children, using humor and encouragement to build an easy relationship with her pediatric clients. She has a strong interest in helping with childhood anxiety issues, ADHD, and other pediatric health conditions. Childhood is the root from which adult health and habits are formed.
She is experienced in energy therapies of Reiki and QiGong, having studied Kuan Yin QiGong with Master Li Jun Feng, famous coach of China’s national martial arts team and Jet Li’s teacher. Her massage techniques include Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Touch for Health, Zen Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Tuina (Chinese medical massage).
